Hi Roxie! You have a beautiful blog and gorgeous photos. When may I come visit you in the Atchafalaya Basin? I've been there a couple times, but would love to go deeper into the basin with someone who knows the area!
Did you ever meet Gwen Roland? I actually had lunch with CC Lockwood at the State Library Book Fest in fall 2006. I wish I had the talent he has in his pinky finger!
All three of the books at the top of your list are on a chair beside my bed!

I wandered over from PW - love your photos and we have a lot of the same taste in music - I have been listening to "All the Roadrunning" almost daily since we got it and love the Cale/ Clapton collaboration. I will be back to check you out some more!
